Update Friday 19 March 2021

Following the Government announcement of a roadmap to removing the lockdown restrictions which were introduced on Tuesday 5 January, Hull Culture and Leisure Ltd are implementing a phased step approach to reopening our sport and leisure facilities, Museums, Galleries, Hull City Hall and Hull New Theatre from Monday 8 March.

Activities within our parks will also be amended in line with the roadmap including plans for reopening the Animal Education Centre at East Park and our Outdoor Gyms.

Hull Libraries Still Open

From Monday 29 March the following outdoor activities have restarted:

  • Golf at Sutton Park Golf Course
  • Tennis at the Costello Tennis Courts
  • Outdoor Track and Field activities at Costello Stadium
  • Bowls at our outdoor bowling greens
  • Cycling at the Ennerdale Cycle Circuit

From Monday 12 April our pools, gyms and outdoor fitness classes will resume at the following sites:

  • Albert Avenue Pools
  • Costello Stadium
  • Ennerdale Leisure Centre
  • Woodford Leisure Centre

From Wednesday 14 April the Animal Education Centre at East Park will also reopen.

We urge the public to follow all the Governments advice, guidance and the rules in place and those rules that have come into place from Tuesday 5 January 2021.
