Hull Culture and Leisure are looking for enthusiastic Leisure Assistants to work effectively in a team, to provide a safe environment through the supervision of all customers using the swimming pools and all other areas of the facility. To provide a high standard of cleanliness and customer care so that customers can partake and enjoy their appropriate activity or sport.

Due the major investment and refurbishment of Beverley Road Baths and planned refurbishment of Albert Avenue Pools the Leisure Assistant positions will initially be offered on fixed term contracts of upto 6 months with the potential of possibly being extended or becoming permanent positions. More information will be provided at interview stage on our plans and progress.

Vacancies are as follow:

5 Postions at Woodford Leisure Centre 37, 37, 37, 17.50 and 12.50 hours per week.

3 Positions at Albert Avenue Pools 19.98, 24.25 and 19.25 hour per week.

2 Position at Beverley Road Baths 22.50 and 9.25 hours per week.

1 Position at Ennerdale Leisure Centre 13.69 hours per week.

Casual Leisure Assistants - All Sites

A current National Pool Lifeguard Qualification is desirable for this post but training will be given. A pre requisite to pass a National Pool Lifeguard Qualification is you must be able to swim 100m on your front and 100m on your back, descend to the deepest part of the pool and swim 50m in 60secs.

A swim test will be given as part of the interview process.

A degree of flexibility is required in this role as you will need to cover for holidays and absences.
