Would you like to be part of a small but dynamic team, developing and delivering high quality teaching resources and services for schools, teachers and pupils across the city?

Hull Culture and Leisure is seeking to recruit a Customer Advisor who will work as part of Hull Schools’ Library Service, a specialist department within Hull Library Service.

It is essential that you have 4 GCSEs or NVQ level 2 or equivalent qualification in a related work area, and have experience of working with children and young people.

Skills and experience required include:-

  • experience of working with children and young people;
    • experience of working within an operational environment which includes dealing with customers;
    • a commitment to a high level of customer-service which can be demonstrated through previous work or volunteering experience;
    • experience using and applying IT systems and office software for varying purposes.

It would be great if you have an understanding of the importance of children’s literacy and learning too, as we’re committed to helping children develop into life-long readers and enjoy reading for pleasure.
