Fixed term for 1 year due to funding.

We are looking to recruit a confident, enthusiastic and energetic Enterprise Coach & Hub Supervisor to develop and manage the new Business Lounge facility at Hull Central Library. The Business Lounge will offer business resources and facilities for small businesses, potential entrepreneurs and people who are self-employed, signposting them to other relevant, expert support as appropriate.

The successful candidate will be expected to work with partners, organise events and activities to promote company services, and generate income to help sustain provision.

You will need to be qualified to NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in customer service, information advice and guidance or a related discipline, with experience of dealing with customers in a public environment and a proven commitment to delivering a high level of customer service.

It would be an advantage to have been masterclass trained in Intellectual Property with previous experience of coaching and mentoring and/or assessing, however training will be given.

The successful candidate will lead, supervise and mentor staff, organise workloads, use their own initiative and be an effective team member.

A sound knowledge and awareness of equality of opportunities, good problem solving skills, good IT skills, and experience of cash handling are essential requirements.

A flexible approach to work is a must and you will be expected to work occasional evenings and Saturdays.

You will need a good knowledge of business resources and services in the Humber area. Knowledge of library and information procedures and practices, and the organisation’s key partners would be an advantage.
