Fixed Term Contract to 30th June 2022

Do you have a passion to deliver high quality services that will stimulate innovation and investment in research and development by SMEs in the Humber region? Do you have experience of ERDF or similar European funded projects? Are you able to support the development of sustainable networks and partnerships across the Humber region?

Could you do all of these things, within a new team whilst supporting the creation of a new and responsive project that will stimulate investment in research and development and innovation across the Humber region, establishing Innovate Humber?

If you can answer yes to all of the above you might just be the person we are looking for.

Hull Culture and Leisure Library Service are seeking to appoint a dynamic and inspirational individual who will be responsible for supporting innovation & research to encourage and support SMEs to innovate and invest in research and develop new products to market. You will ensure that robust and accurate records are maintained in relation to the project. Provide written reports and presentations for funders and stakeholders and undertake quality assurance checks to determine the effectiveness of the delivery and information provision for the project. You will also support the Innovate Humber Project Development Manager and Innovation & Research Facilitator in all aspects of developing and establishing the Innovate Humber project. This will include developing relationships with research organisations and institutions both in the region and nationally to enable the team to broker relationships between project clients and the organisations and institutions.

We are looking for a candidate who is enthusiastic, can make things happen and has previous experience of work in a relevant field. We expect you will have developed significant relevant skills, experience and knowledge, including excellent communication and influencing skills and the ability to establish strong working relationships and partnerships.

You must have a flexible approach to work, as this job will require the successful candidate to travel across the region and work evenings and weekends and to be able to change your days and hours of work, although generally you will be able to plan for this.
