The Library subscribes to online reference works to help you find reliable information and carry out research.

These are all free to use but you may be asked to enter the barcode number from your Hull library card to use them at home. Some can only be used on a computer in the library, we’ve made it clear which ones these are.

Quickly find relevant information - search by headline, name, topic, keyword, date, or author. Results can be viewed in order of relevance or chronologically. You can also browse a specific newspaper by date.
