PUBLIC NOTICE: In line with Government guidance, all playgrounds and outdoor gyms still remain closed to the public at this time.
Adjacent to West Park is Walton Street which is host to the largest travelling fair in Europe every October.
Other facilities include three bowling greens, a model railway and a paddling pool (open during the summer holidays).
Walk Hull is a new walking initiative developed in collaboration between Fitmums & Friends, Hull Culture & Leisure and Hull City Council for West Park. There are seven pink signs situated around the footpaths of the park, simply scan the QR code with your smartphone’s camera to be taken to the Walk Hull webpage. Scan a second code and the website will tell you how far you’ve travelled between the two points and how long it took!
Walk Hull also counts up the total distanced travelled by all users and records milestones for the community.
You can choose your own route and all the signs are situated along the existing pathways so are accessible to all Park users of any age or mobility. Try it friends, family or on your own and get more active.
For more information on Walk Hull, and to access how far you have walked, visit the Walk Hull website here.
