Going Swimming or to the Gym
All swimming and gym sessions are now available as normal so there is no need to book. Our pool programmes are increasing their capacity levels so that we can accommodate more swimmers in the pool.
We ask all people going swimming to be considerate of others and to ensure that they have read the pool safety rules which can be found below.
Booking a Fitness Class
Aqua and Fitness Classes will continue to be booked in advance and can be done either online, by phone or at reception.
For customers with Live It memberships you can book classes in advance using the membership number on your Live It membership card as before. For people who wish to be casual users and not take out a monthly membership, we are now offering the option of a pay as you go card which means you can book online or over the phone with ease.
Booking in advance has returned to up to seven days in advance for members and six days in advance for non-members.

You can book a fitness class by using the button below or by calling Albert Avenue Pools reception on 01482 614 826. Please be advised that call waiting times will be longer than usual so we do suggest you book online.
Swimming lessons will be resuming at Albert Avenue Pools in a limited capacity. Due to COVID-19 new procedures for swimming lessons will be in place at Albert Avenue Pools. Further information on the new swimming lesson procedures can be read below.
Sauna Room Use
The sauna is for people aged 16 and above and is open during all large pool sessions. There is no need to pre-book, you can walk up and use our sauna room.
If you are new to Hull Culture and Leisure facilities and wish to use one of our fitness suites, please ensure that you visit our Gym Induction page below prior to visiting.
The video will provide you with the essential information required to use our fitness suites. Should you require a more in-depth induction, please ask at reception when you visit one of our leisure facilities.

For people who wish to be casual users and not take out a monthly Direct Debit membership, we are now offering the option of a pay as you go card which means you can book online with ease. Complete your details online and use the temporary membership number to book and pay for your activity. Simply collect your card from the leisure centre on your next visit.
Non-members are required to sign up for pay as you go membership as part of the government guidelines. This helps us to maintain a COVID-safe environment and aid the NHS with track and trace. Further information on our Test and Trace and Data Protection statements can be found below.

How To Find Albert Avenue Pools
Albert Avenue is in the west of the city approximately five minutes walk from MKM Stadium and West Park.
There is ample on site car parking with three dedicated disabled parking bays, and an overflow car park at the rear.
A small external bike park is also available.
Ramped access at main entrance.
Assistance dogs are welcome. Please notify us prior to arrival, where possible. A dog drinking station is available on request.
From Monday 19 July, use of changing facilities and showers will be available as normal for all members.
