Ennerdale Leisure Centre is now closed for a £1.76m refurbishment.
The centre is closed to the public from Monday 1 July and will reopen in January 2020.
Regular users of the centre will have access to all other council owned leisure facilities in the city, which include the recently refurbished Woodford Leisure Centre on Holderness Road, Albert Avenue Pools and Beverley Road Baths as well as Costello Stadium and The Waudby Centre.
The works will see the refurbishment of all the centre's electrical and mechanical services, with upgrades planned for the filtration, ventilation and cold water systems.
The reception area will be renovated along with the fitness gym, studio and sauna space, while new disabled changing facilities will be added.

How to find Ennerdale Leisure Centre
Ennerdale Leisure Centre is in the north of the city, just five minutes from Kingswood. It is right on the River Hull at Sutton Road bridge.
There is ample on-site parking for cars and coaches and three dedicated disabled parking bays. A cycle park is available at the entrance as well as heavy duty bike storage lockers (deposit required). A separate parking area can be opened on the Cycle Circuit for cycling events.

Assistance dogs are welcome. Please notify us prior to arrival, where possible. A dog drinking station is available on request.
Baby changing facilities are available in both the male and female changing rooms. We have also have four dedicated changing facilities for people with disabilities.
There is an on site cafe. The Venue Hull cafe sells a range of hot and cold food and drinks.
