Welcome to Beverley Road Baths. As one of the few remaining Victorian pools in the country, this Grade II listed building has been carefully restored to reveal more of it's Victorian-era heritage while giving customers a modern swimming and fitness experience.

Following the multi-million Pound refurbishment customers can now access - 

  • A refurbished swimming area, with new changing booths and decor restored to it's Victorian splendour.
  • Two brand new fitness suites, one with new Precor cardio machines and the other with new Precor free weights and resistance machines.
  • A new sauna and steam room.
  • Fully refurbished changing facilities.

Going Swimming or to the Gym

All swimming and gym sessions are now available as normal so there is no need to book. Our pool programmes are increasing their capacity levels so that we can accommodate more swimmers in the pool.

We ask all people going swimming to be considerate of others and to ensure that they have read the pool safety rules which can be found below.

Booking a Fitness Class

Aqua and Fitness Classes will continue to be booked in advance and can be done either online, by phone or at reception.

Customers with Live It memberships can book classes in advance using the membership number on your Live It membership card as before. For people who wish to be casual users and not take out a monthly membership, we are now offering the option of a pay as you go card which means you can book online or over the phone with ease.

Booking in advance has returned to up to seven days in advance for members and six days in advance for non-members.

You can book a fitness class by using the buttons below or by calling Beverley Road Baths reception. Please be advised that call waiting times will be longer than usual so we do suggest you book online.

If you are new to Hull Culture and Leisure facilities and wish to use one of our fitness suites, please ensure that you visit our Gym Induction page below prior to visiting.

The video will provide you with the essential information required to use our fitness suites. Should you require a more in-depth induction, please ask at reception when you visit one of our leisure facilities.

Sauna / Steam Facilities

Our sauna and steam facilities have been fully refurbished. There is no need to pre-book, you can walk up and use our sauna / steam facilities.

Our opening times are - 

  • Monday to Wednesday 6.45am to 4pm and 5pm to 9pm
  • Thursday 6.45am to 4pm and 5pm to 10pm
  • Friday 6.45am to 4pm and 5pm to 9pm
  • Weekends 9am to 4pm

Please note the Sauna / Steam facilities are closed for cleaning from 4pm to 5pm on weekdays. You will also be required to wear a band for proof of payment.

For people who wish to be casual users and not take out a monthly Direct Debit membership, we are now offering the option of a pay as you go card which means you can book online with ease. Complete your details online and use the temporary membership number to book and pay for your activity. Simply collect your card from the leisure centre on your next visit.

Non-members are required to sign up for pay as you go membership as part of the government guidelines. This helps us to maintain a COVID-safe environment and aid the NHS with test and trace. Further information on our Test and Trace and Data Protection statements can be below

Beverley Road Baths is opposite Pearson Park, towards the north of the city around 10 minutes out of the city centre.

Parking

A small car park with two disabled parking bays is located at the rear of Beverley Road Baths. There is also a small external bike park.

Wheelchair access

Ramped access at main entrance.

Assistance dogs

Assistance dogs are welcome. Please notify us prior to arrival, where possible. A dog drinking station is available on request.

Changing facilities

Baby changing facilities are available in the family changing areas. We have also have two dedicated changing facilities for people with disabilities.
